After church on Sundays

Members and guests at St. Mark are invited to have coffee, juice, and cookies in the parlor following Sunday church services.

Luncheon Circle

The ladies luncheon circle meets at 10:30 a.m., the third Tuesday of the month in the church parlor.

Evening Circle

The ladies evening circle meets at 7:00 p.m., the third Wednesday of the month in the church parlor.

The Women of St. Mark

The women of St. Mark meet the second Thursday of every other month, often at the church, and occasionally at a local restaurant. Please call the church office for more information.

GIFT
(Growing in Faith Together)

Sunday evenings (5-7 p.m.) during the school year.

A program for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. The children's choir practices from 5-5:30. We share fellowship with a meal from 5:30-6:00. From 6:00-7:00 the children work on arts and crafts, or on their own mission and service projects.

Every other month or so, the GIFT children meet earlier in the afternoon and go on field trips. We've been roller skating, to putt-putt golf, and bowling. If your child is interested in participating in GIFT, please call the church office for more information.

Junior/Senior High Fellowships

Sunday evenings during the school year, 5-7 p.m.
Activities for the evening include handbell choir practice, a shared meal, and work on a service or outreach project.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School times and dates for 2002 will be announced later. Bible School is for children through 5th grade. The junior and senior high students volunteer to be teacher assistants.

Sports Softball Team - the St. Mark softball team were champions in the east Dallas church league in 1995. We havn't done so well lately, but we have lots of fun. Volleyball Team - the St. Mark volleyball team participates in the east Dallas church league. Games are played at White Rock United Methodist Church.

Special Events

Easter Egg Hunt - this takes place the Saturday before Easter, on the grounds of St. Mark. The Jr/Sr High youth hide eggs and candy, then help the younger children with the hunt.

Halloween Party - usually the Saturday before Halloween. The Jr/Sr High youth plan and prepare a party for the younger children.
